Sunday, May 4th~ Rhone wines are made for food, and the Far Out Wineries of Paso Robles will share their food pairing secrets with you! The Far Out Wineries is an organization of west-side Paso Robles wineries started by Justin Baldwin and other winery owners in 1995. Join the sixteen Far Out Wineries at Halter Ranch Vineyard for a morning of cooking, wine pairing and panel discussion. Three Mediterranean dishes will be paired with a flight of Rhone-style wines: One for Rhone whites, one for Syrahs, and one for red Rhone blends. The owners and winemakers of the Far Outs will join you to speak about their wines and enjoy the food. The cost is $75 per person and seating is extremely limited. Seminars: Daily tasting events will be hosted by JUSTIN’s own Master Sommelier Joe Spellman. Comparative ISOSCELES/ Bordeaux tasting 10 a.m., $100/pp. ISOSCELES vertical tastings and blending seminars offered at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m., $50/pp.
Tours: Take a walk 120 feet underground through our wine caves. Learn about the Paso Robles region, history of JUSTIN, our philosophy, the soils, our oak program and more! Daily cave tours 10:30 a.m., 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. $15/pp (includes tasting) Complimentary for wine club members and up to two guests.
