Compensation: $12.00/hr
Start/End date- August to December
Responsibilities will include:
• Vineyard Sampling and chemical analysis
• Receiving and processing fruit at the crush pad
• Sorting
• Fermentation management- (tank pump-over and temp monitoring)
• Press
• Barrel filling and maintenance/topping
• Must have reliable transportation with flexible harvest schedule
Sous Chef:
JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery is looking for a creative, passionate about food, Sous Chef to assist in our fine dining on site restaurant. The successful candidate will assist and lead kitchen and wait staff to provide the freshest, best food possible in accordance with the JUSTIN recipe standards; will assist with food cost management, ordering and inventory control. This exempt level position is accountable for management of staff and must be fiscally responsible in accordance with the management criteria set forth by the Executive Chef. Requires 2-3 years fine dining experience, formal culinary training/education, and knowledge of local/state/federal health and sanitation laws.
