A Prayer for Sunny

Open the gate and embrace my friend.
He has shared my life and brought me joy beyond words.
I will hold him in my heart and remember the feel of running my hand along his golden coat and the sensation of his wet nose on my skin.
He was an inspiration, a patient soul, cheerful and brave beyond words, a friend to the countless fortunate to be in his presence, a member of my family and his extended JUSTIN family, a playmate for my children and thousands of others, and an ambassador of unconditional love.
The familiar wag of his tail and smiling face will be missed but never forgotten.
Goodbye Sunny...

Francoise (Franny)
Shih Tzu

Francoise, better known as "Franny" was born in 2003 in Bakersfield, California. He's a wonderful character and is often seen running around the barrel chai and caves looking for bungs to use as chew toys.

"I'm the only dog that gets to sleep in the house!" - Franny

Franny has also appeared in several winery dog books including both Wine Dogs USA 2 and Winery Dogs of Central California.
