Spring 2013 Shipment

2012 SAUVIGNON BLANC

With refreshing citrus notes of lemon, lime, a little tropical fruit and just a
touch of mineral structure on the palate, our Sauvignon Blanc is great
before dinner or with a summertime salad. It’s the perfect hot weather
wine, in a beautifully balanced and refreshing style.

2011 SYRAH

Full-bodied and complex, with ripe blackberry and brambly fruit on entry
and a meaty, smoky, peppery midpalate accented with mineral and
herbs. Our latest Syrah is a rich and procession of flavors framed
with firm tannins on a long finish. It’s perfect pairing with oak-grilled
game meats or lamb seasoned with herbs and lemon.

2012 ROSÉ

Get ready for summer with this one. Dry, refreshing, with delicate red fruit expression and just a whisper of tannins, it’s the one wine you’ll need during the hot summer months. Perfect with anything from fish to burgers, it’s so drinkable you’ll want to buy a case so you’ll always have a chilled bottle or two on hand.

2011 CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Our Cabernet Sauvignon is a great go-to wine when you’re thinking red. Crafted with carefully sorted fruit, small batch fermentation and a full eighteen months in barrel, it’s a complex wine full of rich varietal fruit, intriguing spice elements and soft tannins. It’s the perfect pairing with a wide variety of dishes and tastes.

2010 RESERVE CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Full-bodied with intense black fruit, layered with brown spice, cocoa, chocolate, licorice and a little mint. Our 2010 Reserve Cabernet has a perfectly balanced structure that is both crisp and assertive with firm, rounded tannins on its long finish. Wait a few years for a special occasion, or enjoy it now with a prime aged steak. This wine clearly shows that Paso Robles Cabernet is among the best.

2010 JUSTIFICATION

Our 2010 JUSTIFICATION has an elegance that allows it to make its
point without raising its voice. It begins with some very special lots
of Cabernet Franc, which give it a subtle spice and herbal quality.
Then it’s blended with our highest quality Merlot, which adds deep and
rounded fruit. Balanced and graceful, it pairs well with rich yet understated foods like duck or veal.

2010 ISOSCELES

Our newest vintage of ISOSCELES is classically styled with great structure and rich flavors of blackcurrant and spice. It offers the intense palate we love in ISOSCELES, but with an elegance and varietal expression you wouldn’t expect from a classic Bordeaux-styled blend. Enjoy it now, but put away a few bottles for a special occasion.

2011 ZINFANDEL

Every year we look forward to releasing a small bottling of the grape that put Paso Robles on the wine lover’s map. Our Zin’s style is true to its Paso roots: perhaps a bit less bold than others, but still with big black fruit, spicy pepper and sweet tobacco – and even a bit of floral expression in the finish. Pair it with the usual suspects like barbecue or other big flavors, or drink it on its own and admire its wonderful complexity.
