JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery offers a variety of experiences to meet your interests. Tours are scheduled at various times and advance reservations are suggested and may be required for some tours. For reservations, call 805/238.6932 or 800/726.0049 ext. 300 or email innkeeper@JUSTINwine.com.
Winery Tours
- Offered daily at 10:30am & 2:30pm
- $15 per person includes a tasting of current releases
- Complimentary for Wine Society Members and two guests
- Approximately 45 minutes
InSide the BARREL Tasting
- Offered Saturday and Sunday at 12:00 noon
- $30 per person, $24 for Wine Society Members
- Guide uses a “thief” to sample from three barrels (samples change seasonally)
- Approximately 45 minutes
InSide the BOTTLE Tasting
- Offered Saturday and Sunday at 1:00pm
- $30 per person, $24 for Wine Society Members
- Guide pours three limited JUSTIN wines (click here for a sample list)
- Approximately 45 minutes
BOTH InSide the Barrel & InSide the Bottle Tastings
- Offered Saturday and Sunday at 12:00 noon
- $50 per person, $40 for Wine Society Members
- Approximately 90 minutes
Ultimate JUSTIN Flight
- Offered daily at 3:30pm or by appointment, four person minimum
- $100 per person, $80 for Wine Society Members
- Tour begins in chai, includes tasting of 3 barrels, continues to Sensory Room for bottle tasting of Reserves, including ISOSCELES Reserve
- Approximately 2 hours

Winery Tour
Come see how wine is made! Guests will tour the production facility at JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery. During the tour we will discuss how our winemakers create wines that are “in the company of the finest in the world.” We will discuss the history of JUSTIN Winery, the vineyards, fermentation, and aging wine in our barrel chai and caves. Finish off with a flight of our award winning wines in our tasting room.
The following topics will be covered in detail:
- The history of the surrounding Adelaida Hills region and JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery
- Our Estate vineyards, including our replant project and state of the art water reclamation system
- The crush pad, where all of our fruit is crushed, destemmed and/or pressed
- The tank room, where our fermenters go to work
- Our stunning 5-story barrel chai
- 18,000 square feet of caves home to our wines aging underground in barrels
- The ISOSCELES Library, which contains older vintages of ISOSCELES available for purchase only though the tour program
- Our reception room, site for our guest chef dinner, special events and private Wine Society Lounge
InSide the BARREL Tasting
Come taste our wines straight from the barrels! Want to get a sneak peak at the coming vintages and learn how barrels help shape the flavor of the finished wine? This is the tour for you. On this tour you will explore the wonderful world of barrels and what affect that these wooden casks have on the wine. We will talk about how barrels are made and how this affects the flavor imparted to the wine that is aging in them. We will also taste wine straight from three different barrels. (Barrels change seasonally)
InSide the BOTTLE Tasting
Find out what is happening in the bottle that makes aging wine so important. In this tour guests will discuss the life of wine after bottling as well as examine the basics of tasting wine critically. While tasting three of our library wines we will discuss the differences in vintages and varietals. Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase these limited library wines!
Ultimate JUSTIN Flight
Come taste some of the best wines that JUSTIN Winery has to offer. We will begin by tasting several barrels in the chai and wine caves. Then move to the Sensory Room where our world famous wines are blended. In the sensory room we will taste an amazing flight of JUSTIN Reserve wines including the ISOSCELES Reserve. With this wonderful flight we will critically discuss aspects of analyzing wines and ways to help fine-tune your palate.
