JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery offers a variety of experiences to meet your interests. Tours are scheduled at various times and advance reservations are suggested and may be required for some tours and our educational programs. Beginning
Winery Tour
- Offered daily at 10:30am & 2:30pm
- $15 per person includes a tasting of current releases
- Complimentary for Wine Society Members and two guests
- Approximately 45 minutes
Intermediate
JUST Barrels & Bottles
- Offered daily at 3:30pm after the 2:30 Tour and Weekends at 11:30am and 3:30pm
- $30 per person, $24 for Wine Society Members
- Guide uses a “thief” to sample from three barrels (samples change seasonally)
- Approximately 45 minutes
JUST the Reserves
- Offered on Saturdays now through August 2010 (call for schedule)
- Join us for a special guided tasting with a Certified Sommelier and taste a selection of limited bottlings, reserve wines, and older library selections
- Held in the ISOSCELES Library located deep in our barrel caves. Limited quantities of library wines will be available for purchase
- $25 Retail / $20 Wine Society (Complimentary for ISOSCELES Reserve certificate holders)
3 Cheeses, 3 Wines
- Offered Monday - Friday at 1:00pm
- Learn the fundamentals of wine and cheese pairing from a JUSTIN Wine Educator while sipping on JUSTIN wine paired with cheeses from all over the world
- $25 Retail / $20 Wine Society (Complimentary for Wine Society Members who receive the Wine & Cheese Club shipment)

Winery Tour
Come see how wine is made! Guests will tour the production facility at JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery. During the tour we will discuss how our winemakers create wines that are “in the company of the finest in the world.” We will discuss the history of JUSTIN Winery, the vineyards, fermentation, and aging wine in our barrel chai and caves. Finish off with a flight of our award winning wines in our tasting room.
The following topics will be covered in detail:
- The history of the surrounding Adelaida Hills region and JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery
- Our Estate vineyards, including our replant project and state of the art water reclamation system
- The crush pad, where all of our fruit is crushed, destemmed and/or pressed
- The tank room, where our fermenters go to work
- Our stunning 5-story barrel chai
- 18,000 square feet of caves home to our wines aging underground in barrels
- The ISOSCELES Library, which contains older vintages of ISOSCELES available for purchase only though the tour program
- Our reception room, site for our guest chef dinner, special events and private Wine Society Lounge
JUST Barrels and Bottles
The JUST Barrels & Bottles Tour includes a guided barrel sampling and education on the winemaking process. Your guide will use a "thief" to sample from three different barrels and will educate you on an array of production and barrel-aging techniques. Compare barrel samples from American to French Oak and New Oak to Neutral Oak and learn how different varietals contribute to a red wine blend. Includes a tasting of a sold out or limited production JUSTIN wine.
The Art of Blending
Have you ever wondered how we determine the varietal percentages we blend to make ISOSCELES? Are you looking to learn about the characteristics each varietal brings to the blend? Here is your chance to learn more about the five Bordeaux red varietals though a hands on blending trial and seminar led by a JUSTIN Wine Educator!
Reserve JUSTIN Flight
Taste our finest limited release and Reserve wines. Experience our Sensory Evaluation Room, where our winemaking team holds its blending sessions. You will learn about winemaking at JUSTIN while tasting a selection of our most highly sought after wines. Advance reservations required. A limited amount of older vintages will be available for purchase after the tour.
Master Sommelier Joseph Spellman's Ultimate Wine Experience
This is a rare, once in a lifetime, opportunity to taste wines with one of the best palates in the world, JUSTIN's Master Sommelier Joseph Spellman. Joe is only the second American to have won the prestigious title "Best Sommelier in the world in French Wine and Spirits", and in 1990 he was named the Bon Appétit Wine and Spirits Professional of the year. Joe is frequent instructor and examiner in the Court of Master Sommeliers, and in 2005 he was elected Chairman of the American Chapter of the Court. He has also passed the difficult Certified Wine Educator Examination in 2003 and has studied for the Master of Wine Diploma with top instructors. Among his professional written works, Joe is most proud of his critically praised wine notes featured in the landmark series of recipe and photography books by Chef Charlie Trotter. Over the Years, Joe has contributed to a number of noteworthy publications including Wine & Spirits, Wine Enthusiast, Sante, Decanter and Appellation.
