The 2017 JUSTIN Cabernet Sauvignon is an extremely versatile food pairing wine making it a great go-to red for an artisanal cheese and charcuterie appetizer, or entrée such as a Philly cheesesteak sandwich or a classic Entrecôte (steak) Bordelaise with pommes frites.
2017 RIGHT ANGLE
Recommendations include a Gruyere or Kasseri cheese with an Italian-style dried salami, such as Soppressata, as a starter. For a main entrée we recommend a creamier dish such as baked brie or mac and cheese with bacon or pancetta.
2017 JUSTIFICATION
Enjoy this wine with a rich pâté. While we suggest a Pâté de Campagne style, our 2017 JUSTIFICATION also complements savory pork dishes - particularly a pork shoulder roast or tenderloin with salt, pepper, garlic and herbs like thyme or rosemary. Or, if you happen to have some handy, pair with a delicious Duck Confit.
