Rose for Thanksgiving
By now, most of us who follow and enjoy wine are immersed in the giddy cultural zest and energy around all manner of “Pink Wine.” The volume of Rosé consumption worldwide has surged, making for several years of double-digit growth, with no ceiling in sight. Flavorful yet delicate, dry but fruitdriven, fun but delicious with rich food—while we often think of Rosé as strictly a summer wine, many keen observers have insisted, accurately, that Rosé knows no seasonal limits.
It’s a serious wine, made carefully and intentionally, and capable of becoming more complex with time. Selecting grapes for Rosé is a no-less-discriminating process than it is for red wine, and the technical expertise in extracting the perfect hue from the skins of grapes is just as challenging.
When I was first tasting wine at the Thanksgiving dinner table in the early 1970s, it was usually mass-produced jug Rosé with a dose of sweetness. But at JUSTIN, we have pushed forward for several years with extremely dry, table-friendly Rosé, capable of superb enhancement of so many flavors. JUSTIN Rosé goes the extra mile for Thanksgiving, pairing its cornucopia of flavors with stuffed roast turkey or goose, sweet and savory vegetables, and even Grandma’s fabulous but quirky Jell-o mold!
JUSTIN Rosé has taken a leading flavor position with its fine union of briefly macerated syrah, cabernet sauvignon, and aromatic white grapes to a unique platform—densely flavorful, racily dry, and firmly structured. It’s a can’t-miss wine, any time of year.
Of course, there are other options in our stable of fine wines: from our signature Cabernet Sauvignon to our Bordeaux-inspired blends, JUSTIFICATION and ISOSCELES—although those wines are better suited for prime rib roast or a rack of lamb on festive end-of-year holiday evenings.
Whatever your meal choices, our portfolio of flavors is sure to please!
