Appearance

Bright with a dark ruby core with a purple hue in the glass, lightening toward the rim, with tears that are moderately thick and lightly stained.

Aroma

Very aromatic with a complex mix of ripe red cherry, raspberry fruit with leather, rose petal, vanilla, savory spice, and a touch of oak.

Palate

Medium-bodied with ripe red fruit flavors of raspberry, pomegranate, cranberry, and strawberry on entry, leading to a midpalate featuring pleasant floral notes of red rose petal and savory components of new leather, toasted spice, and black olive with hints of dusty earth. The moderately long finish shows fine tannins with sustained luscious fruit, lingering oak, and spice accents.
