Clear with a deep purple core, that lightens to bright ruby at the rim, leaving thick tears that stain the glass.
Aroma
Expressive notes of blueberry compote, black currant, crushed blackberry with mocha, green olive, and hints of graphite.
Palate
Dry and concentrated, the palate opens with dark fruit tones of red and black cherry, ripe plum and red currant. A supple mid-palate reveals well-integrated, soft tannins accented by savory notes of cured meat, nutty coriander and cinnamon. The finish is long and complex, highlighted by black pepper, cedar, and warm baking spice notes of vanilla and clove.
