The 2023 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the best Paso Robles Cabernets available. Crafted from the same quality fruit as our flagship ISOSCELES blend, and made of 100% cabernet sauvignon grapes, this wine is a Cabernet lover’s dream. This wine is bold and complex with concentrated flavors of black plum, vanilla, and sweet oak characteristics. Its structural texture keeps this wine balanced and fresh from its beginning through its very long, complex finish. It’s delicious on release, but don’t hesitate to let it age for a few years — or even a decade — to see how it evolves. That is, if you can wait.

Clear and bright with a deep ruby core that lightens slightly at the rim. The tears are slow to form, moderately thick, and persistent, with light staining on the glass.
Aroma
Notes of ripe black cherry, blackberry jam, and red apple skin gain complexity with layers of toasty barrel spices, vanilla, mocha, and star anise.
Palate
Dry, full-bodied, and intense on the approach, with juicy red plum and black currant fruit, mocha, leather, and tobacco notes on the midpalate, followed by a long, savory finish of pepper, nutmeg, and black tea. The tannins are firm and fine-grained, while a streak of acidity balances the lush fruit and warm spice elements.
