For more than 40 years, JUSTIN has been known for producing iconic Bordeaux-style wines. Not to be typecast, we conceived FOCUS – a limited-production wine that expresses the now world-famous potential of Paso Robles to produce the highest-quality new-world Syrah. For the 2024 FOCUS, we selected the best of the best syrah fruit and released only a few hundred cases of this remarkable wine, showcasing our ability to craft exceptional wines in a variety of styles.

Deeply concentrated with an opaque purple core that softens to purple-ruby at the rim, showing heavy staining and slow-forming tears on the glass.

Intensely aromatic, opening with ripe black cherry, warm blackberry pie, dried sage, leather, and a lift of black pepper.

Full-bodied and expressive, with juicy plum and dried blueberry on the entry evolving into a vibrant midpalate of red cherry, dried herbs, and subtle smoky nuances. A balanced structure of smooth tannins and lingering acidity carries through to a long finish layered with clove and barrel spice.
